Burn Pile, 2007

For an exhibition at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, I gathered - with permission from the Kwantlen Nation - a pile of sticks that was to be burnt on Kwantlen land in Fort Langley, BC. I brought this pile to the University's art gallery in Surrey, BC, and re-bulit the pile within the space where it remained for one entire month.  After this period of time, I returned the entire pile.
